sun flower power

i've tried to grow sunflowers for some time now
and everytime they die
or get killed by a pet
or birds outside
or something
so i was beginning to think that maybe sunflowers were some impossible freak plant that didn't really grow out in nature cause i had never really seen one out in nature
so one day i was walking into work
depressed cause of my job
and i saw in a construction site next to the parking lot
a sunflower
growing in a hole surrounded by debris
and i thought
son of a bitch
i can't make something grow but this can grow out of nothing
kind of like life, alot of things you try to force and make happen, but sometimes you have to step back and let nature and some luck work it's magic
my mom later asked me why i didn't dig the flower up and bring it home to plant in the yard
and beside from the plant being fricking huge
it seemed very happy where it was
